Weird things are weird.

So, this morning, before I got up, I experienced a little bit of weirdness… I had stayed up until like 3am last night, and was dead tired. I’m lying in bed about 80% asleep, vaguely aware that my sister just walked through the front door. (She’s staying with us pending the outcome of some whole Shakespearean thing she has going on… Personally, I hope it falls short of the Full Shakespeare and only manages Jerry Springer.) I ask her what time it is, and she says it’s something like 11:30, so I ask her if she could look and see if there’s any mail. She returns empty-handed. It’s around this point I start to realize I’m dreaming all this, and manage to snap out of it. A couple seconds later, there’s a knock at the door, and my sister answers it; the bit of registered mail I had been waiting for…

Weird how these things work out, huh?

Actually, I’ve had things like this happen before; dreaming about signing for a package I’m expecting, only to wake up just before it gets there. Or simply waking up just as the UPS guy reaches the top of the stairs. (Maybe shopping almost exclusively online causes you to develop a sense for these things?)

nani sore?
A peek inside the mad, mad, mind of Baka-chan. Animator, artist, hater of stupid people, and evil genius. Look upon the undoing of all order in the universe, and tremble.
